At almost 95 years old, this lovely woman made the trek up to the city I live in to celebrate my birthday with me over lunch (last Saturday). Not many 95-year-olds are down for a mini road trip. Heck, no one is usually down for a mini road trip in this weather. I love her so much, as well as my Cousin Mike (it’s thanks to him that I was able to see some of my family in the first place). The gesture really made me think about who matters in my life. Actions definitely speak louder than words. I love them!

Thank you for liking my post! I love your Oma, my grandpa is over 90 as well and just his spirit is so bright that it makes me so humble every time I get to see him!
