The past couple of months were quite difficult for me lifestyle-wise. I wasn’t eating right, I wasn’t eating a lot, and I didn’t even think about exercise. After living like that for an extended period, I began to see the link between physical health and mental health. My brain was falling short in all aspects of my life; my writing wasn’t great, I couldn’t focus, and my memory was awful. I could actually feel that part of my brain was dead, I could tell that something had switched off. Mid-december, I started to slowly make some lifestyle changes that I am hoping will stick. I haven’t been ordering take-out and I’ve only been buying fresh food; vegetables, salad, and healthy soups. I already feel a tremendous improvement mentally, and I’m starting to get over my writer’s block. Things are looking a lot more positive. I would like to just say that I am sorry for the small bout of negativity and melancholy that you (as a reader) had to endure. Thanks for sticking with me. Things are looking up.

I’m glad you’re feeling better!! Sometimes the hardest thing to do is acknowledge that a change needs to be made so props to you for realizing it (and sticking with it.)
