Microwaveable Apple Pie (Day 136)

As a student on a budget, I don’t really cook elaborate meals, and when I’m craving something expensive, I will find alternative ways to make it. This week I was craving apple pie. This recipe can be made on a budget and only incorporates three ingredients. The recipe can also easily be adapted to be vegan or gluten free. Someone else on the internet has probably already invented it, but I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with it on my own one night, and wanted to share! (Recipe directions will be in the descriptions under each photograph!)


– 1 Apple (thinly chopped)

-3 Cookies (I used thin, ginger cookies)

-Cinnamon (add as much as you desire)

Chop your apple into fine pieces.

Add your cookies and cinnamon.

Then you’re going to want to mix everything together and microwave it until it’s warm. I leave it in my microwave for about 50 seconds, but times will vary.


Then enjoy!
